Don't buy these sticks!

I bought these sticks about two weeks ago thinking they were affordable and had the same speed as the only stick I use. Ever since I installed them, my computer freezes and gets blue screens. I took my old joystick thinking other hardware might be the problem but it wasn't. These sticks are terrible. Just pay an extra dollar for some decent ones instead.

Inexpensive RAM suitable for computers and accessories

Well I didn't realize it until I bought this kit but it's the exact same module pack that was in my prebuilt PC. To be honest, I don't think I need 32GB of RAM (16 to start and a second set of 16), but for only $60 there was nothing wrong with getting it. Installed and went into BIOS just in case. . The BIOS immediately recognized the 2 new modules and automatically set them to XMP settings, as was the case with the first 2. As soon as I booted into Windows I ran HW64Info and saw a full 32GB of

Good value for the "normal " user, no tolerance for overclocking

I upgraded this memory to 32GB but had to return it. Using the XMP profile with my i7-6700k on a MSI Z170A it worked fine and tested well. But as soon as I changed the CPU multiplier, the problems started. After lots of random Windows crashes on my usual 4.4GHz frequency, I started testing extensively with Memtest86. Only standard 4GHz had memory errors. It didn't change anything other than CPU multiplier, so I'm not sure why memory hated it so much. This memory already requires a fairly high…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Annoying

Inexpensive, but still good quality.

Like most RAM, this was an easy install. The heatspreaders don't stand out too high or get in the way, which allows me to install them on a machine where the motherboard and heatsink are dangerously close to the slots. I look forward to having the machine ready for heavier games soon, but everything works great in Path of Exile, even with integrated graphics.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • There are errors

Blue screen since I installed it

I've never had a blue screen issue with my Patriot Viper memory since I installed it this Sunday. I had 5, no overclock. gkill, no blue screens and running this store for hours on end shut down my computer within an hour of installing this has been passed on

Pros
  • A little about it
Cons
  • So far so good

Just as good as the others

Took a chance on a new brand. Usually use GSkill, Crucial, Corsair, etc. Most motherboards set them to 2133 by default. I set the XMP profile to 3000MHz but lowered it to 2933 for my Ryzen 1600 Zen+ rig. Running memtest86 overnight, no errors. CPU-Z lists the manufacturer as Micron (I didn't pull out the heatsinks to test). Use them on ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 board.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No instructions

Reliable electronics

I made a low budget build, obviously OLOY is a newer company, they are not included in the QVL for compatibility with most motherboard manufacturers . Luckily everything booted up right away and my computer just flies! Best of all, I no longer experience lag or bottlenecks (my previous PC had 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz memory, which was good for the time, but Haswell has outlived its usefulness!)

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not sure

Great product and good price

Using it for my son's new gaming PC. It came with 16GB of Oloy RAM and bought it to upgrade to 32GB. Very easy to install for those who are computer savvy. A simple setting in the BIOS to change the RAM clock speed and is quickly recognized by both the operating system and the motherboard BIOS. I have never heard of this company but so far after 3 weeks everything seems to be working fine.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Arrived damaged in storage

I didn't have time to use them. One was dented in the metal just above the pins, the other had a dented contact plate and couldn't fit in the slot. Something heavy and sharp hit them long before they were packed and sent to me. Sent back and bought something else. 2 stars for the price as it would be a steal. Can't rate anything else.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • hard to say
