OLOy DDR4 RAM 64GB (4X16GB) 3600 MHz CL18 1 Review

Ram worked great in my Ryzen 5 3600x build combined with a B550M Mortar motherboard. No problem. Don't forget to enable XMP settings in BIOS to keep RAM running at full speed. If you don't enable XMP, your RAM will only run at low speed by default. So this is a very important step if you want to get the most out of your RAM. Excellent memory!

Good RAM but does not work in ASUS ROG Strix Z-490. I'm checking what type of memory Asus MB requires, but I don't remember when the memory became specific enough to use speed and pin type, DDR3 DDR4 now needs to be matched exactly to MB and this memory still works not for the Z-490. I have ordered a replacement MB which I will test again later.

I like everything about it. Although my computer does not turn on when installing. When I put my old ram back in it works fine. Then I plugged OLOY back in and my computer wouldn't boot. So I'm in the process of finding out.

So all RAM is produced by 3 companies, Micron, Samsung and Sk Hynix. All of these companies just buy these chips and use their branding by acting as resellers. This means that Oloy offers excellent value for money as it can beat the competition for the exact same product. The problem is that they seem to lack quality control. As Revain has a generous returns policy I still highly recommend them as this is exactly the same product as other more expensive brands. Because they are all scammers.
