🔪 Olson FB19293DB 0 025 2 Inch Blade: Superior Cutting Precision and Durability Review

Bought for a friend he says they are no worse than the ones he used. No durability rating: because he hasn't used it long enough.

This is my favorite disc. The ones I keep on the saw 90% of the time. The blade provides a smooth cut and a straight cut on narrower material. I choose these blades without hesitation.

Olson saw blade is a great blade. It is very sharp and cuts excellently even on thick workpieces, it cuts straight and fast. It is 100% better than other blades on the market. That's the only brand I will buy. Very satisfied.

Always get excellent performance from Olson bandsaws. I once tried using a blade I bought from Lowes. never again. I came right back here. and ordered a replacement and threw away the blade which I got from Lowes. Of course, that's not Lowes' fault, it's just the brand they wear. I thought that you can save time and just buy in the store. Waste. I have ordered Olson blades from Revain several times over the past three years. Never, never disappointed.

I use it on a standard 14" band saw to cut 6-8" shell blanks that are 5" thick. /2" plywood with guides at the bottom). I can take a piece of split wood and turn it in under 1 minute and get a perfect circle (transition from lengthways to crosscuts). EASY goes through old maple and sassafras - that Sawdust cleans very well and the kerf is wide enough to make tight circles For <$12 it's great!

This 93 1/2" blade was purchased as part of a complete overhaul including Cool Block guides and new bearings. Inspection of the canvas from the box revealed weld spatter and a fairly rough finish on the weld .the blade wasn't flat either, of course the blade doesn't work properly, is noisy and jumps on the bearing with slight cutting pressure, maybe it was an accident, I'll try another one to check the quality improved I'll post again when I get a replacement.

Perfect blade for my needs. I typically use a 1/2" claw blade with 4 teeth per inch. I got it based on reviews and it works very well. "Great job on the 8/4 walnut. Cut straight and fast. Dust didn't get into the cut so there wasn't a swamp. The cut wasn't smooth. But I don't expect it to be at this point. The blade came in." on time and well packaged to I will be doing this with my rough cut blade on my 14 inch bandsaw.

I have purchased several of these Olson saw blades in the past and have been mostly happy with them. This one was really just "boring". I've ordered a new one hoping it's comparable to those I've bought in the past. but if it's like the last I will not come back. TO UPDATE. I ordered a new blade, but then I noticed that the delivery time is about 10 days. I canceled the order and will find something else to work with. Who uses camels more for delivery?

We examine the canvas out of the box. on the weld there are spatters and rather coarse grind visible. The back of the blade wasn't flat either. Needless to say the blade doesn't work properly, is noisy and snaps on the bearing with slight cutting pressure. Fluke, I'll try another one to see if the quality improves I will post again when I get a replacement.
