I bought 3 other sets of clasps of different types before buying this one. I hesitated and just wanted to buy the standard fasteners but said what the heck. They are meaty, strong and really fit unlike any other I have received. The only feedback I have is to make the rubber grommet out of a harder rubber as every time I tightened the bolts the rubber just pushed out and looked like crap so I had to about 1/2 inch from the sides cut, but it was worth it. such a wonderful product.

I was able to install the hood lock fairly easily. Tightened the nuts on the main bolt, so far so good. After that, my kid and I took a trip from Cali to Arizona. After an hour of driving, my hood started flapping up and down as I drove down the freeway. I had to stop immediately. Upon reviewing the issue, I noticed that both main screws were gone, resulting in both brackets not working. Perhaps the company should have given some thought and provided lock washers. Great product. Delivery was quick. I didn't read the instructions well enough to know how to properly attach the center pin so it fell out. Contacted seller and he sent a replacement, no questions asked. Very good salesman! They are well made and work great. You look great. Installation can be difficult due to the lower hood latch. The bolt is hidden and requires skillfully placed heads to get to it. The instructions suggested reusing standard screws as they are easier to put back in place. It…
