O'Neal Off-road 2series Helmet Slick - Ultimate Protection for Off-road Adventures Review

Pros: Comfortable, nice features for the price. Shipping was fast and returning was very easy. Cons: Beware of the size. I used the O'Neal size chart which was a large size like my other helmets but I had to return it for the XL size. So get bigger.

I always buy big helmets and have measured my head to make sure I'm 59 or 60cm, exactly the same measurements as for this helmet. I ordered a large one, it was too small. I ordered a very large one, it was too small. I ordered a very large size even though it was too tight. I ended up sending all three back. Great looking, affordable. Terrible sizing.

Exactly as described this helmet is light weight fits well and I would say it's a bit small but still fits my head well. The finishes and details are perfect and the upholstery feels pretty fancy, although I haven't ridden it all day. Famous Brand, DOT & ECE, all at a great price and super fast delivery; recommended.

I measured my head according to the manufacturer and it should have been on the lower end of the XXL, that's what I got. Unfortunately, it was so tight that I felt like I was going to rip my ears off trying to put it on, and once it was on I felt like my head was in a vise. XXXL was out of stock so I returned it and bought another brand. Too bad because the helmet looked good and was good value.

Received my helmet today and am very happy with it. My head is 58 cm. Based on O'Neill's diagram, I would fit in the setting. I ordered 2 sizes up to XL following the recommendations. I give this helmet 5 stars but it gives me a bit of a headache. I checked the sizing chart and it turned out to be in the upper middle so I decided to play it safe and order the next size up which was large and the helmet felt too tight. It was very snug against my cheeks and felt like my ears would fall off when I took them off. Now I'm back for XL and feel a little tight on my cheeks but much more bearable. Others complain The helmet is very tight. And yes, out of the box it feels pretty tight. BUT if you know anything about motorcycle helmets. 1. They wear out and weaken over time. 2. You need a tight helmet (as long as it stays comfortable) because a loose helmet doesn't protect against head injuries as well as a nice and comfortable one. This helmet was tight. In general the helmet looks good but arrived broken! One of the visor screws was broken as you can see in the attached photos, I'm very disappointed (and the things that look like screws are plastic!). Also, the cheek pads are too firm.
