Large pitcher in kitchen and dining room

I've been using plastic containers to store iced tea for so long. I rarely drink it, but my son lives with me and drinks VOLUME. Tea always stains plastic pots and looks unsightly. I wanted glass. I wanted durability. I have understood. A nice pitcher. Easy to clean.

This is the best option for making iced tea!

After breaking a nice glass jug, I looked at safer glasses made of a different material as I think boiling water with tea bags makes better iced tea. This one is perfect - no cracks and a great lid with an internal rubber gasket that seals it well. And my iced tea tastes great after chilling in the fridge!

Sturdy glass, mediocre lid

I like it a lot, except for the lid which is a bit leaky. It's a good size for making iced tea (I love Starbucks Tazo tea) and since I can pour hot water in it and not worry about it breaking, I love it. This year I got 5 stitches in the ER when an old iced tea pitcher was shattered by hot water! So I am satisfied with the quality of the glass.

Crash installing

I bought this for the Sun team. I read reviews about them breaking easily but others said they were fine so I took a chance as I don't need a bulky pitcher. The first day my son filled it and then put it on the counter like normal, not careful but didn't slam it and the whole jug broke. it was a "normal" usage. It's clearly not strong enough to support the weight of the liquid and normal use. I was shocked and disappointed because I wanted it to work.

Looks good but I'm concerned about the heat on the stove

I like the look of this jug but I'm not sure about the heat on the stove. The instructions that came with it were for an insulated metal beverage container, not this glass pitcher! I've tried it on the stovetop and it seems to work fine, but it can't be that hard to pack with the right instructions. The lid was tight when I first used it but now it's loose and I press down on it when pouring, but that's what the Revain website says. . When cleaning the neck gets tight for my hands, I use the…

Love it! fits serveware

My husband and I love to make sun tea, but the large glass jug we used had a few drawbacks. He had no shirt; It was heavy and the spout was too thick, causing frequent spills. I reviewed a few jars and decided on this one based on the good reviews. When it arrived it seemed on the small side, being a few inches shorter than the jug we had, but it turned out to hold about the same amount and fit in our fridge easily. The top is better than I expected as it has a screen. which catches tea leaves…

Compact, high quality design

UPDATE: So it still holds liquids well and can handle hot water. I didn't put ice in it or poured hot water on it to see if it cracked lol. It cannot be used on the stove, but it can hold hot liquids. Undoubtedly this is very minimalist, if like me you drink a whole pot of tea or lemonade this is for you. It has a leak proof lid.—————————————— I thought it would be sturdier but the description still lists its measurements. Overall I like it, haven't tried it on a stove, I doubt it can crack a…

75oz stainless steel lid - why?

I've been using the jug for about a month and finally had to stop using and replace it. I have no idea what the logic behind the design of the lid was. It's just wide open to the air from the fridge. As I understand it, this should be somewhat reminiscent of the cap pouring queue. except these lids on the plastic jugs fit snugly against the plastic wall so when you twist them away from the spout they seal to a degree and block airflow. This lid doesn't do that. If you twist the holes away from…

Ideal for me Suitable for Dishes and serving utensils

I bought this to make myself green iced tea. I'm lazy, so I wanted something heat-resistant so I could "brew" in it. I don't heat a pot on the stove, I use hot water from a cooler and throw in tea bags and I'm fine with that. It's big, not heavy, the hole pours well and I can put my hand in to wash. It's light and I thought it might be brittle as it appears to be light but turns out it isn't (I have stone counters and have trouble with hard mounting and breaking). The shape is neither too big…
