Works, convenient power on/off for Raspberry Pi devices

I use these switch cables to power my various Raspberry Pi single board computers. I don't notice the voltage drop that others report, but then I'm fed from a fixed 5VDC, 12A fused power rail rather than wall power supplies. I won't be using the switches very often, so I'm not sure I'll have any durability issues! The time will show.

Just couldn't get it to work

These things don't really work for me. I built a PC into the peripheral that doesn't have a power switch so I don't have to turn it off all the time. Everything was fine for about ten seconds before it started connecting and disconnecting constantly. Maybe it works for something else, but since I've only used it for power, I don't know what it could be. The switch is nice and clicky and doesn't feel too cheap, but still none of them worked for me.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done

Awesome power button for small onboard computers

Used as part of the reset process for my Raspberry Pi. Tell the system to shut down, press the button to turn off the power, make changes to the board, and then press it to turn it back on. No more removing/inserting the USB power connector.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Weak set

Exactly what I dreamed of.

I have a Raspberry Pi that I have on my desk and hook up to KVM, but I hate getting up to turn off the surge protector on top of my desk shelf. I knew I needed a simple power switch to make it easier to turn the power off after shutdown and turn the power back on when it was ready. My dream came true easily and I was willing to buy another Pi to use the second one. A very happy purchase.

Pros
  • Good Looking
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Pi 2 Low Voltage Warning

Contrary to the description it does not deliver the full 5 volts to the Pi. Tested with known good power adapter and USB cable. Triggers a low voltage warning on the Pi 3B

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Fits

Does what it says about computer accessories and peripherals

power on. This is to turn off the power. Installation is fine, no problems so far. It is black and has one button. There was a micro USB input and a micro USB output. It's a thing that does what it exists for. The camera quality is terrible. Does not exist. Why is it possible to evaluate the camera? Two thumbs up.

Pros
  • . Can be used not only for your Pi, but also for any Micro USB devices such as mobile phones or tablets. No data transfer function!!!
Cons
  • old
