🍵 Enhanced Empress Tea Strainer Review

This is a must have if you love loose tea. It's good enough to pair with a fancy tea set, but sometimes I just use it with my Disney mug. Speaking of which, the strainer can cover all of my cups/mugs so it can be used with more than just narrow cups/mugs.

The tea strainer fits directly onto the cup, making it easy to brew loose tea in the kettle. When it's time to pour the tea into the cup, the loose tea falls into the strainer. Easy! I have tried so many different tea balls and this simple and expensive solution is so much better.

Just what you need to strain loose tea after brewing in a teapot. I usually use it on a mug because I like a good cup of tea. Some have mentioned that it won't fit wider teacups, which wouldn't be a problem. It's meant to be used to strain tea brewed in a teapot, so just hold it under the teapot spout over the cup like I do with the long-handled tea infuser. It's not meant to sit on a cup and brew tea, it's designed to strain tea from a teapot.

Nice, good design at a great price. The strainer is fine enough to strain the honeybush tea that I often make for my kids. Attractive wings sit comfortably on all the cups and mugs we have, and even on the tall glass jar I drink a lot of green tea from; If I place it carefully, it even lies on top of the French Press we use daily for soaking (although kids have been known to get knocked down in the French Press when they get rowdy). This is a great little tea infuser. I use mine to strain out loose tea that I put in my teapot when I pour the tea from the teapot into a preheated thermograph. This tea infuser fits perfectly on my vacuum jug, easing my efforts to brew hot tea throughout the day.
