Built like a brick outhouse, this grille looks like it will last forever. Intended as a campfire accessory for cooking meat and as a place to set a heating teapot or 2-quart sauce pan, I think it will work great, once I build "legs" to spread the weight.

This is an inexpensive upgrade EVERYONE with a kamado grill should make NOW. Improves airflow and eliminates charcoal dust/ash from limiting airflow. Inexpensive, well made, better than original design. My grill works much better now!

Wasn’t positive that this was actually stainless because it’s so well polished. I thought it might be chrome plated but it passed the magnet test.Solid heavy construction with nice welds. Should last indefinitely.

Heavy, and beautifully made. It is built as a charcoal grate, and is strongly built to withstand repeated direct contact with very hot fires, but I have a different use. It fits perfectly in the rack for the diffuser/water pan in a Broil King Keg kamado grill. That allows me to get the grate low, just above the charcoal, for serious, fast, searing, with a small fire: perfect for my wife and I and perhaps another couple. This is a well built high quality grate. The dimensions are exactly as stated and the stainless rod it is made from is thick and robust. I anticipate a lot of great service from this grill grate.

While this grate would do a great job in handling charcoal/food (higher quality than my Weber grates), I actually use this for charring peppers and vegetables on our gas stove. Better price and quality than a "designed” stove top grate.

This heavy duty stainless steel fire box grate is an up grade from oem . allows more airflow to improve quicker/hotter fire from the wood coals . fits in the fire box with issues .

Vast improvement in airflow and is easily regulated. Grill is much quicker to start with Looftlighter and comes to temp much faster.

Heavy stainless steel, very sturdy, no flex. So far, seems like a fantastic upgrade compared to the stock fire grate for the XL Big Green Egg.

Heavy duty grate. I used it for a second level in my large big green egg. Works perfect for what I wanted. It may not be as durable as other grill grates on the market..

This will last me a lifetime. I bought it to put inside the bottom of my camping pot for when I'm baking over a fire. Elevates food just enough to keep bottom from burning on potatoes, onions, biscuits or cornbread.

It is Heavy duty for sure. They say it's intended use is a charcoal grate. I have no doubt it would work for that. I was attracted to it because it is Stainless Steel. I am using it for a grill in my smoker (overkill for my purpose) and did not want something rusting. Chrome plating and enamel just doesn't last. This thing will be here long after I'm gone.

Greatly improves the draft, clean up, and temperature control. Grill reaches operating temperature quickly, be sure not to leave it unmonitored as it warms up. No more ashes to scrape around, everything too small to burn falls through to be removed. Seems to be exceptionally durable in use.

I am not using this grate for it’s intended application but it is a well made, very heavy, nicely finished product. That's my review!

I needed a robust stainless steel grate to go inside my repurposed aluminum 6 gallon water heater, now a BBQ/Smoker. This grate was a perfect fit. It is thick stainless and easy to clean with steel wool.
