Onshine Building Blocks Wooden Storage Review

Finally! Plain classic size solid wood blocks, the same ones I had when I was younger. My son always enjoys building with it.

Big solid blocks but my 2.5 year old granddaughter balances and builds easily. There is no bad smell either. A good storage box is a plus. Very happy with the purchase!

Excellent quality blocks. It was difficult for me to find blocks of this size made of wood. As a child, I had a set that my great-grandfather made that has not yet been passed on. It just is and my daughter is having so much fun

My daughter (3) and son (7) love these blocks. I love them because they are easy to clean and when you put them away it's like a puzzle trying to put them all in a box that is fun for both of them. Sturdy and simple, but hours of fun.

Big size! Much lighter than some of the other brands I prefer. They aren't as noisy when they fall and there is less risk of "Auvie" I also bought a basic set of construction toys for comparison. These building blocks are exactly the same size as the built-in building toys, but about a third of the weight. I decided to keep them and return the building toy set (which cost twice as much - yes, you get a few extra blocks, but it wasn't worth it to me).

They are great for my little one. All in all a lot. Pros: Big size that was hard to find. Lightweight so nobody gets hurt when they fall. Good price for a set, with lots of details and a wide variety of shapes. Mostly well formed and sanded. Good storage box. Including instructions with some assembly ideas. Very stable, although structurally still in order. Some wood defects (a solid piece with a small knot), some minor roughness.
