I recently moved and some furniture came into my new apartment. Among the remains was a large mirror in a heavy frame that I wanted to pick up and just left hanging. About three weeks later it fell (thankfully it didn't break) and I found that an 8-10 lb weight literally broke its (cheaply made) saw tooth bracket in half over time.
