They were smaller than I expected but I decided to use them anyway. When I went to take one off, the hook broke off when I tried to unscrew it, leaving a piece of brass sticking out of my wall that I couldn't remove.

Ridiculously small. I can barely wrap it around my little finger. I assumed that 7/8 meant the diameter of the hook, not its length. Typically, cup hook measurements refer to this. I cannot use them for their intended purpose.
