Description of Maximize Comfort and Performance with OP/TECH USA Super Pro Strap - Design B (Black)

A choice of two designs fits most medium format & 35mm cameras with retaining lugs. Quick disconnects allow for Connection System capabilities. Soft, durable neoprene pad stays securely in place with our Non-Slip Grip and incorporates a slight curve to allow the strap to rest lower on the neck. Fully adjustable in length: 36" - 45" (91,4cm - 114,3cm). Made in the USA.

Design B fits my Bronica S2A

Was looking for a good strap for my old and heavy (4.5lb) Bronica S2A and found it quite difficult as there aren't many options. Also, OP/TECH USA does not list S2A in its list of cameras that can use this trap. I have just received the OP/TECH USA Super Pro Strap (Design B) and confirm that it works well with my Bronica S2A camera. Note. that there are older (or newer) Bronik cameras that have a different eyelet. Check out the photos I uploaded; If you have the same eyelet on bronik, then the…

Rating ONLY for Pentax 6x7!

I only consider this for use with the Pentax 6x7 for which it has been recommended from time to time. For other YMMV cameras. The Pentax 6x7 is known as the "Beast" for a reason. It's a huge 6x7 SLR and weighs a ton. It weighs enough that the plastic clips on this strap aren't strong enough to hold the camera. Even if accidentally disturbed, the camera may fall to the ground. That would of course be a disaster. Perhaps a different design would work better, but this should be avoided for use…

Great product at a great price!

Great product! I have tested the Type B harness with my RB67 and have not had any issues so far. Love the fact that it has little soft plastic pegs on the back of the foam strap to keep it stable when worn around the neck or shoulder. I can understand why some people thought type b would not fit Mamiya RB67. The instructions that came with the belt weren't the best. However, OpTech did an excellent job of explaining how to add a strap to your camera via YouTube. Here is the link to the video…

Terrible for RB67 (or similarly heavy systems)

Cons:* When suspended, it is impossible to move vertically face down (lens down). This means it stays horizontal in the orientation normally used when taking photos, so you can't walk comfortably while the strap is on. In any case, you must continue to hold the camera. Since the protrusion has a square cross-section rather than round, the metal hinge on the protrusion can have a mechanism that rotates at least 90 degrees, allowing us to tilt the camera horizontally while shooting. and hold it…

Strap B FITS RB67 (and RZ67)

There have been a few bad reviews on this strap suggesting that 'B strap' does not fit Mamiya RB67 so let's get this straight : It fits just great. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but it works. I'll add some photos to show how it's done on the RZ67, which uses the exact same lugs as the RB67. The main thing to remember is that the metal end of the clamp is NOT solid (although it looks that way at first glance). They are two pieces with spring tension holding them together. By…
