I don't use it I have a son for skate, surf and skim videos. He loves to. I forgot what camcorder he's using, it's not premium, but it's not cheap either, it's HD. ($450 or so IIRC). I checked it out a few times as it shows me what it's capable of and it's pretty cool. Crystal clear, no distortion. When he gets on the ground and films his buddies skating, you see the whole scene ALL. Very cool. Highly recommended.

I wish these lenses had been available 20 years ago when I was a skateboarder. I think maybe I bought it because I always wanted a good fisheye for my camcorder when I was shooting skate videos with my buddies. However, I thought about how this lens could be useful when shooting compact city streets in Tokyo and moving shots at a train station, for example. This is a great deal for the price for the quality you get from it. The only thing I had to do sucks but still works great, I zoomed in a bit to get the edges with the HD camera was remove the sun visor from the edges. It was very easy to make and the only thing I really dislike is that the lid no longer snaps open. But I had to do this because it hit the inside of the frame when screwing it in, so I had to use an extension (and an extension is included) so I could screw it in. In any case, I…

I really like this lens. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find a soft carrying case, screwdriver, lens cloth, spacer ring, and printed instructions alongside the lens and lens caps. It's also surprisingly light. The included lens hood causes black vignetting so I removed it and the problem was solved. I would also like to mention the company's support for this product. I (thought) had a problem so I emailed them and they were very quick and helpful. In fact, Mr. Opteka helped
