Type of review

Well I took a chance even after reading some negative reviews about connectivity issues with this device. From day one, the device randomly lost the signal and searched for the source. I know sometimes these things are caused by distance or bad cables. This is not the case: all cables have been replaced; Added balloons to the system - even run parallel images through another system to test. The problem is with the projector. Accidentally disconnecting the HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 connectors. Now I…

The picture quality will not disappoint

Excellent image quality when properly adjusted. This device's simple menu structure allows users to configure various settings, which can be intimidating for beginners. The biggest issue for me is the lack of keystone correction, but I understand that this degrades the picture. There are other minor flaws, but nothing critical. Definitely recommend this device. Update: After 8 months of weekend use, only the 4k hdcp 2.2 port stopped working at all. When I contacted Optoma for a warranty repair…

Fantastic projector and introduction to HDMI

requires some planning and additional costs. I bought it from Revain through Visual Apex due to stock issues. VA is a Revain dealer, so at least it's there. We bought it to replace an outdated Benq W1070. The projector is a little larger than expected, but the size isn't really an issue and is clearly stated on the spec sheet. I mounted it to the ceiling using an Optoma OCM818W-RU mount and the projector installed with very little effort. I highly recommend the Optoma mount. It's more expensive
