I didn't need that much magnification and had to use a 5x loupe but this is a great mirror and well built. It took me a while to position the mirror in a way that would be effective and useful to me, but once I get used to it, it's great.

. As a result, after figuring this out, it works as expected. I will say that the 10x side requires the person to be very close to see properly, but if you have good lighting nearby no problem. The size (height) is excellent. Will serve as a replacement for the junk I had previously. Not 5 stars, but not junk either. Firmly.

Since I don't have a picture to show you, just imagine your nose has gotten big enough to fit on the cinema screen and you can see every freckle and see every pore. Do you really want to see it? Or your vision at some point, like mine, that the 10x magnification actually keeps straight lines when applying makeup. If this mirror had good lighting and was twice the size, it would be perfect.

First, it's my fault I bought a mirror with such a low magnification. I'm older and need at least 10x magnification. Guilty. Second, even if the magnification was enough for those old eyes, I'd be disappointed because the rod or bit that comes out of the base that the mirror is attached to doesn't stay taut, making the mirror unstable. This is a big annoyance!

The mirror I received was not the mirror described in this listing. I received a 7x magnification single sided white illuminated Kedsum mirror with a 2 inch stand with suction cup handle. Since I began the return process the listing has been updated to reflect the lack of the actual product described. If this update had been timely it would have saved me time and money. Bought a nice mirror elsewhere. 2 thumbs down.
