The Oreck vacuum I use probably predates me lol. I got it from my father and stepmother. My father tuned it before he gave it to me. I have very long hair that has killed every upright vacuum I've ever had. Find; but it never occurred to me that I could find replacement brush rollers too! These reels do not have a magnet installed in the reel head. I only found out about this after installing it, and my Orick XL turned itself off after 3 seconds. A quick call to Orick customer service and they asked if the new roller brushes have magnets built in? No, they do not have. I had to drill magnets out of old roller heads, drill new holes in new brushes, and glue/reinstall the magnets. What a pain in the back but I don't have time to return it and get a new set. Game Changer! I can't confirm that it fits all Oreck vacuums, but I can say that it fits my Oreck XL Commercial absolutely perfectly.
