These are great for people with small gardens or indoor plants. The best feature is that they store in their dry, compressed state until you're ready to use them. They re-hydrate easily and quickly. Just remember that this medium has no nutrients in it, so you have to add your own fertilizer, but is sure does hold water! You can mix this with regular soil or raised bed garden soil and you won't have to water so often!

After soaking, makes an easy bedding for worm composting bin. Good value, no scent and is biodegradable. Ends up being in my garden or flowers after the worms have had their way with it. Black Gold.

I have been using coir in place of peat for about thirty. My original reason was because it came in compact brick form. I live in an apartment, and raise lots of houseplants for which I mix my own potting soil. I don't have a lot of storage space. Easy to use, dissolved a brick in water in a 5 gal bucket and worked into garden soil. Excellent as an amendment and for retention of water in soil.

I love this medium, but it is a pain if your not using an entire 650 mg brick. Still a quality product though! Thanks for attention!

Bought these coir blocks to soak up extra moisture from the worm bin. It soaks up the moisture and is safe for worms. Perfect for my need!

Good product for mycology and growing plants all around just add perlite or whatever you want to grow with have used it through many grows and in mycology projects.Recommended to anyone needing some coco substrate for your projects etc.

Haven’t actually used them yet. Just got them out of box today and noticed bricks are not uniform size as you can see in photos. I unwrapped the smallest and it was a little under 100g less than what it was supposed to weigh. Maybe they all add up to be the amount that is supposed to be in the box but I’d like it better if the bricks were uniform and all weighed 650g like they are supposed to. We will see how it performs but feeling a bit nervous now haha.

I don't have much to compare to because this is my first experience with coco coir. I bought both the worm castings and coco blocks from Plantonix and they seem to both be fine and of good quality. If you're planning to break up the blocks to use (as I intended to), keep in mind that breaking them apart is quite difficult. Double soak in 4ml Calmag per liter of water. AGAIN! SOAK IT TWICE IN CALMAG AT LEAST 8 hrs. Per soak. Hydrate Coco with warm water. Three gallon per 1.5 pound brick. Wash well with high pressure water in a eighth inch mesh colander. Best done "out of doors" as my cousin says. Coco Bliss is awesome but a hell of a lot of work. Pro Mix HP may suite you better. An hour a brick lol.

The blocks come individually wrapped, include easy to understand simple instructions and the product is what it's supposed to be. Sometimes no news is good news, as is the case with this product. Will buy again.

I've used a couple different brands of coco coir for amending soil or making my own potting mix and this one is super nice quality. It fluffs up so beautiful and is pristinely clean. Highly recommend.

I use this as a replacement for Pete Moss since it is more sustainable. It was very easy to work with, and stores nicely since it’s compacted. However, I don’t feel like my plants did as well. Next year I’m going to try a 50/50 mixture of this and Peet moss

Coir is actually a soil-less medium, and there are no nutrients to be taken up from it. That being said, this is the best seed starting medium per cost. Yes, Pete moss is (ever so slightly) better in certain circumstances. But honestly it waterlogs so easily. I’ve had more success with this brick. BUY THE BRICK!

I've purchased several brands of Coco Coir for mushroom cultivation and Coco Bliss has been the best. I won't buy any other.

Easy to use, I put in a bucket and add about a quart and a half of water and they swell up and separate perfectly, little is required to prepare for toilet.

I got these for my mother in-law to try out. She is an avid gardener, a pro really. She is somewhat skeptical of stuff like this, but gave it a try with some of her potted plants. So far, so good. She has no complaints, and when we wet the brick and broke it apart, there was no funky filler or scent. A+++
