So small they're almost useless

I knew these were small, but they're honestly so small, there's not much use for them. If you're using them to germinate seeds, they are going to fall apart before your plant will grow substantial roots to be repotted.

Pros
  • Great product for the money, cells are large and deep, impressed with the quality.
Cons
  • The peat pots may not be sturdy enough to support seedlings as they grow

Great for planting for my opinion

As soon as I got these, I planted seeds in them almost immediately. All I had to do is grab a handful of soil and it filled up majority of the pots where I needed the soil. In total, to fill these pots up, it's about 1 1/2-2 handfuls of soil that is really needed. With the markers, I was able to write on them what each seedling was so I didn't confuse it with anything else. Some things that I planted have already needed to be re-potted into a bigger pot, like my pumpkin and squash seeds. What I

Pros
  • BONUS
Cons
  • The peat pots may be more difficult to dispose of than other planting materials

Fell apart when watered

Planted today. Added starting soil and seeds. Added water and they began collapsing. Need to be used in conjunction with plastic seed starter as a liner as they will not hold up on their own.

Pros
  • great
Cons
  • The kit may not be readily available in all areas, limiting its accessibility

Makin babie! good for me

This product does exactly what it is supposed to do.I mean it’s thin pieces of compostable paper made into cups. I’m not sure how sturdy, thick or durable it is supposed to be. I was able to rotate the trays a bit when they were full and wet.

Pros
  • Work well
Cons
  • The kit may only appeal to a niche market of environmentally-conscious consumers

Very thin. Fall apart easily

They stick together and are hard to seperate because the product is very thin. Fall apart easily. not a good product to start seeds.

Pros
  • Great for starting seeds but once you water the unit they get soft and you need a tray to keep them on.
Cons
  • These are very tiny pots. I thought I was ordering 4 inch square pots. I’ll be returning them.

Much smaller than I expected.

Very small. Flimsy when wet. As others say, hard to separate the pack. Jiffy pots are a better option. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • These pots are easy to use and deep.
Cons
  • Some consumers may prefer more aesthetically pleasing planting options
