We are happy with this chalkboard. It erases well and there are no problems writing on it (we use regular chalk, not chalk markers). My daughter especially loves the tray that comes with it. It's not a beefy chalkboard like we had in our classrooms in grade school, but for everyday home us this is a great choice.

It's exactly as advertised. Easy to install. I got it for school so I can put deadlines and important dates and notes on it, and its perfect for that. Literally no complaints

I didn’t received the magnets that comes with it so far so good . ( don’t buy the liquid chalk) it’s a hustle to wipe it off this board

Got this to make homeschooling teaching easier.good size.the black frame (which i could not find anywhere else for this good price) makes it stylish. Really pleased.

I purchased this item to cover my fireplace since we are not using it and I wanted my kids to stay out of it. It is perfect! It’s the largest size I could find and my kids love moving magnets around on the chalkboard. I would recommend this item as it’s large enough to even act as a chalkboard if you’re home schooling.

Sturdy, and a great value for the money. I've been using regular chalk sticks, both white and various colors, and they come off easily with a spray bottle of water and microfiber cleaning cloth. I guess there's some very faint ghosting if you're squinting and looking for it, but when cleaned it looks just like a normal blank blackboard. My kids are all obsessed with it; I'm getting a second one for the basement playroom so they stop drawing over my notes. :)

Looks like it was a quality board, unfortunately arrived with a deep gouge/creece across the writing surface, product it too large to send back from our area and will have to make due as it is needed immediately for online teaching. My suggestion would be add additional protection to the writing side of the board and make sure it is not damaged before shipping.

My daughter loves the board and it was easy to put up, but is also removing the chalk/eraser shelf. Thankfully, it is easy to put back up. If you have a Toddler expect to pick it up.Quality is good as well.

The fit & finish was better than I had expected , although the price point should have gave me a hint. More sturdy and impressive than I was going to build one myself. The chalk trey did not make it to the final installation due to the sharp corners and toddlers using this mounted to the back of a "toddler tower".

I used it for half a year now and the only complaint is a very flimsy chalk holder platform that keeps falling off with a slightest touch, spilling chalks all over the floor and breaking them. Other than this annoyance, the board works perfectly.

staying home decided to give my kids more knowledge with areas not covered in their school these days, looking at what they cover is not enough comparing to what they used to teach us in the school, every time i talk to teachers - their answer - we don't have budget for it, what? i only hear how your salaries are keep growing and you retire with 80K a year! fine, not my battle - will do it myself at home.

My board arrived dented in the corner and on top. Was obviously used because the protective plastic was missing and the board was dirty. The hardware mounting package had been opened so loose screws and parts were in the bottom of the box. Will not be buying again

This board works alright with liquid chalk. Seems to come off easily, although I've only used white, and some reviews say the colored liquid chalk does not come off as easily. We will see.The plastic protective covering did not come off easily at all. Tried peeling slowly at the edges. Was underneath the boarder of the board. Still picking tiny pieces of plastic off.Overall it does what it's intended for. Liquid chalk writes smooth and clearly. The instructions were simple but didn't tell me…

I’ve had a couple issues with Staples shipping dry erase and chalk boards and they show up broken, this one showed up without a scratch and seems to be well made. Very happy

I needed a black board that could handle magnets and this was the perfect size for my garage. It easily holds paperwork with plenty of room for notes.

This board is everything I need for my office. I used liquid chalk marker and left messages on it for over a week and they came off just fine with a damp cloth. It was very simple to put up.I did it alone. Great chalk board and highly recommended.

Happily, I was able to hang this board from a set of four command-strip hangers near my desk. The chalk board erases fine and has a nice place for chalk that attaches to the bottom.

It’s big and easy to put together. I have it in my room so that I can draw on when the mood strikes me. It comes with everything you need to hang it up and two small magnets. There was a small defect on mine, probably from shipping, but I don’t mind

The board seems to be made of some type of very-dense foam. It is plenty hard for writing on I assume, but not rugged. ON the positive side, this makes it very light. On the negative, I doubt it will hold up to even mild abuse. Also, ours had a long crease in it. I've seen this type of manufacturing flaw in products made this way. This isn't terrible, but given the location of ours, I didn't want something that was clearly cheaply made.

We have been using it for about a month for our home office. Works great. No defects in the product. Looks good and it's fun to use with the colored markers.
