Organizer Best Floss

Omg. I just love this thread organizer. This was a game changer for my project I'm working on. No more mess. This allows me to separate the thread individually and not tangle it. I can thread multiple needles and be ready to change color without having to rethread. Holds 30 threads of different colors. And I found a "pencil" box at a dollar store that was perfect for an organizer.

I'm feeling lucky. It does a good job, but less than you think.

Doesn't look that long but works very well. In fact, it's much smaller than it looks, although it's exactly the same as the picture. The inner plastic for the pins is harder than it looks. It doesn't feel like foam like I thought it would, it's more like the top of a sponge, plasticky in texture but works well. Not suitable for cross stitch as they are not sharp enough to penetrate the plastic part of the pin.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

Keeps thread organized

I like to use it for cross stitch kits that come with thread. However, when I buy my own line, I prefer to use spools. This definitely keeps my threads from getting tangled, but I wish the character tables were a bit bigger. Personally, I'd rather write a number than try to draw 30 complex characters, especially since the set I'm working on has two different characters for the same color, one for full stitches and one for half stitches.

Works as advertised

I use this to separate the colors of the cross stitch thread. I have this one and a smaller one that works well for projects of the same size. This keeps the thread from getting tangled. By sticking a straight pin in the foam in front of each thread finger, you can easily salvage a sub-skein that you have already taken strands from (i.e. split a piece of 6 strands into 3 strands). The center insert can be used in a variety of ways to indicate which color fits your scheme. I have included…

Pros
  • Premium Quality - Made from durable plastic and foam, not easily damaged and reusable
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great thread holder and organizer

Great thread holder and organizer! Delivered very quickly, packaged in a beautiful box with a postcard. I really like the quality, the materials and the color (it makes me smile, sooooo nice to have green in spring). I really started embroidering faster with this organizer because I don't have to be distracted every time I finish the thread. I usually only have one project on hand, but I'm going to start sewing next week and with it spring sale, so I'm now buying a second organizer in a…

Pros
  • 30 position thread card - Holds more thread to prevent tangling
Cons
  • No instructions

Great little thread organizer

I am very happy with this purchase! This is a neat and smart embroidery thread organizer. For years I've been making my own thread organizers by cutting holes in pieces of cardboard. It's a lot more complicated and I won't be ashamed if others see it. There is room for 30 different colors of floss. There are felt areas in the center where you can insert needles and thread. This is a useful feature when threading multiple needles at the same time. I don't sew like that so I probably won't use…

Pros
  • Smart Craft Project Card - Compact foam cutouts make it easy to sort thread, Easy sorting and storage for projects, Tension created allows seamstresses to remove thread as needed without knotting or twisting

  • A newer model would have been chosen can
