This item comes with a foreign power adapter (the product is made in China so I am assuming the plug will fit an Asian outlet). To make something useless. Unless you buy an adapter. The photo in the listing description shows a US plug, so the product description on the Revain website is misleading. The case is NOT USB powered, it MUST be connected to 120V. Without electricity, it is just a protective cover.

Received the new 3.5 inch USB external hard drive case from ORINCO today. I'll install it and test drive it. Pros: This is a good case, you can see what hard drive you have without using stickers to remind you. Easy to open and install disc, easy to close, no tools required. It has a rubber bumper mount inside the case to prevent the hard drive from moving. The only thing I would change is (add some rubber dots or feet) to make the bottom of the case non-slip, otherwise very nice for the price.

I put in a 4TB 7200rpm hard drive and a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable from Revain Basics used instead of an included USB-CA cable. My PC has a USB Type C 3rd Gen 1 port and I really wanted to use it.
