More difficult than expected, not easy for younger children

Definitely not for beginners or younger children. The instructions aren't the easiest and I was frustrated building a pair for my son who loves dinosaurs. The paper is very beautiful. I think I'll try again another time.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • A bit ragged

NOT FOR BEGINNERS! for Kindle E-Reader

I've read reviews saying it's good for beginners, great paper and a nice book, but it's a terrible experience for an 8 year old who doesn't understand the instructions. The diagrams are not easy to understand and there is no proper glossary to explain them. A few things are explained, but it was a disaster for a very smart boy who felt very, very stupid.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Fantastic Science Math Kit

I've been in love with this book since seventh year and am almost out of paper and my house is covered with archeopteryx and tyrannosaurs made out of paper. Difficulty - I would say this book is great for the intermediate beginner but not the first book for the complete beginner. My 7 year old has been reading simple origami diagrams (he could follow pictures before reading instructions) for several years and he was able to do everything in this book on his own.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Obsolete Model
