I have purchased and used these cloths before and recommend them, but this last batch may have been over waxed and from time to time wax residue remains on moldings and windows. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. <EDIT> since the last check. I think residual wax stains could be the result of unintentional pressure on the Duster during use. Just got my SUV thoroughly finished, let the tool do its job, no wax marks! Now 5 stars!

When I first used this product it left red lint all over the car. My husband used it and it left red lint on his truck. And lots of it. It was so difficult to remove the lint. After more than 6 months of use, it no longer leaves red fluff. It's great to use now. Very light and leaves my car clean between washes. Like the product, I just don't like the fact that it requires a lot of uses for it to work well. Once it gets nice and messy, it becomes a lot easier to use. Very happy now.

I recently purchased an original California Duster with a plastic handle for 2 for the price of 1. First, they work well with light dust; Waxing your car regularly not only helps with the car wash but also extends the life of your paintwork. I bought these for my siblings because I still use what I got 20 years ago and I love it, especially now that California is out of water. I have a new car/SUV that I didn't want to scratch so I was hesitant to use a rag except on my old cars. but. I took a chance and it works great on the new machine! Of course I wash my new car (with water) and wax it, but instead of washing it every weekend I clip it down. Instead, I've made it a habit to rip out the rag before leaving the garage for the day.
