Original Engine Management IAC43 Control Review

Worked great! Got up straight away with no problems. Convinced it would fit my car, was happy with the purchase and the time of arrival.

Item arrived in plain packaging. There are no instructions. It came with a built in gasket. The serviced vehicle was a 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0 and the part still works perfectly.

I bought an idle control valve for my 1998 Ford Ranger 4.0l xlt because my old one was making all sorts of noises on the brake lights. It's been almost a year and it's still working great.

Direct replacement for my Ford Ranger 98 4.0L. The gasket isn't a rubber O-ring, but I used it anyway - I also left the standard rubber ring in place. Seems to run with no leaks - and if I find out I'm wrong, a proper o-ring will cost a few bucks and a trip to the parts store.

Found it on other websites and said it was good for other uses but tried it anyway. Fits perfectly, solved my low idle/stop problem. 300 km driven without problems and errors. The contact surface wasn't flat, so I used the case that came with it. Excellent purchase!

Item works fine but not as pictured. I preferred it to others that were five or ten dollars cheaper based on the design shown in the picture. I used the pad that came with it. I felt this was necessary as a different design could result in the stock o-ring not sealing well enough without it.
