🖨️ OEM Black and Red Typewriter Ribbon for Original Olivetti Lettera 21, 22, 24, 25, 31, 32, 35, 35i, 35l, 36, 36c, 37, 82 and S14 Models Review

It's just a ribbon but it keeps coming out. I used to buy cassettes that got lighter and darker as the cycle ended/began. That was not the case with this band. Very happy with the results with both black and red.

Bought for my father who was repairing a manual typewriter. He complained that the tape appeared "dry" and produced a fainter image than he had hoped.

I have all the black and red and black ribbons for my old Olivetti #21. They seem to work well and I appreciate them being particularly helpful Instructions in red and black packaging. I'm keeping this old car as it works great, is strong and heavy and has a connection to my past. my old Rolleiflex, Leica and my old radio all work great, thanks. Ha!

tape color was ok. However, on my particular Olivetti Lettera 22, these spools did not allow the nut (original for that machine) to be tightened enough to prevent the nut from touching the underside of the belt cover when it was in place. Therefore, the spool often rotated with difficulty. Without the tape cover, the new coils worked fine. So I had to peel off the new tape and put it on my old reels. On my old coils, the nut was tighter so the nut didn't scratch or grind under the tape cover…

Works fairly well with my Olivetti Lettera 32, the only thing I'm not 100% excited about are the plastic spools but otherwise the red and black ribbon works very well ok so I can't complain yet that I paid less than $10 for the tape.

My typewriter, which I used in college decades ago, is invaluable to me, so I was glad to find the right ribbon for it. I eagerly ordered it and waited patiently for its arrival. The tape came as expected, sealed in a plastic bag. I eagerly installed it, expecting crisp, rich letters on the page. I don't have any.
