I'm sure it's a great tool but I shouldn't advertise that it's a brand when it isn't. No Gator Grip branding. Regular ratchet and $2 more expensive than the original at Walmart. Also, it doesn't come in the original packaging, just a clear plastic bag inside a cardboard box.

I'm amazed at how well this works with pretty much anything you need to loosen as long as it's not perfectly round. Perfect for weekend DIYers who don't want to buy a lot of tools. Just snap whatever you want to remove with the Gator Grip and twist it and the chances of it coming loose (or moving on if you so choose) are very high!

I wanted the US original and the seller advertised his bullshit as the original. He even used images of a product made in the USA. This junk broke after one use! I always check where the item is being shipped from when making a purchase. I couldn't find it anywhere on Revain so I went for a bargain price. do yourself a favor Exit Revain and go straight to the Endeavor Tool site!

The product I received is a terrible product in counterfeit packaging. It is not made in the USA, the quality is not as shown in the photos and the socket itself has no recognizable brand name, only size ranges. There's a Gator Grip logo on the box (at least they're learning not to ship things in ziplock bags), but even this attempt at copying the brand was of pretty poor quality and had nothing to do with what's in the product photos will be shown.

I've used my original Gator Grip for years and everyone who took mine away loved it. Even the one that didn't come back. So I needed a replacement. The description is wrong. The packaging says Made in China. In addition, the handle is shorter than the original. The pins or "grips" are nowhere near the same quality or quantity. I tried using it for DIY on the car and it works fine for simple things like loosening strut bolts but the universal socket wrench was too big to work in the engine. Even with old and rusty screws, the nut could not catch the screw head and slip off. The optional ratchet is inexpensive and will break with heavy use and/or pulling.
