After watching a few videos on how to use it, I tried to plug the tire and was pleasantly surprised. My only complaint is that you have to make sure the insert is tight. It came out on the first try, but I managed to insert and tighten it with an L-shaped wrench. No problem!

I am happy with this purchase, it has everything you need and looks well built. I have big hands but surprisingly gloves fit. I looked at all the other options but this one stood out because the manufacturer claimed it had stronger grips than others, which seems to be true.

It's nice to know that you have a kit to repair your cars. Just need an air pump. I have not used AAA or any service when getting apartments. All of the boxes and extras in this set are redundant, but I think it's nice to have. I gave the glove to my child. If you use this make sure you use an opening tool to make a hole. it will take some strength. Trust me it can be annoying but it works. saved a lot of $$$$$

Kit packs a lot for the price. I would like it with rubber glue like the others. It sealed my tire but it took 3 different ropes to get it working. The hole I patched was small and even after flaring, pulling out the insertion tool kept coming out of the cable and damaging the patch. On the last try, about half the rope stayed in and the other half came out. He held his breath and decided to give it a try. Holds air for a week.

The passenger tire was low on air and a small nail was found to be causing a slow leak. Pulled out the nail, but the nail made a hole too small to use a reamer. I had to drill a bigger hole with a 1/8 bit. After that you could use the reamer. Plugged in the tire as instructed and boom, job done. Maybe they could have invested a little more in a better razor and carrying case, but hey, the product works.

This is a fantastic set. Sure, you can buy a set at Walmart or any of the major auto parts retailers, but you won't get the quality that this set has. Not only is everything you need for repairs in the case, you can rest assured that everything is in one place. My son bought a cheap set from Walmart and it dried out from exposure to air.
