I am an EPA certified HVAC specialist, I use sensors for air conditioners and fridges but the hoses are not suitable for car air conditioning, they allow you to connect Connect HVAC gauges attach to them and easily attach the quick connect adapter to the vehicle's low and high pressure side ports to check the pressure readings on the gauges and charge refrigerant to the low pressure side port. For a long time I thought my air conditioner was defective until I noticed a 'low side' leak around the screw cap. I don't know how (and I don't have time to figure out) why with these connectors I can't charge or fully evacuate the system. In any case, this is a big disappointment to say the least. My cheaper set of quick couplers works 10x better.

Service couplers on hoses used with A/C manifold sensor kits do not last forever. It's time to replace the ones I had with a new set of link valves which are a lot cheaper than buying a new set of gauges or a new set of hoses with the service valves installed. I have now used the new service valves several times without any problems. They appear to be well made, the price was good and the goods arrived on time.

Nice heavy and safe lock/click on all cars I have with R134A (08 Mustang, 06 Escape, 13 VW Turbo Beetle, 11 Nissan Maxima and 97 Toyota Camry). One problem I've had with other brands is that the tab that needs to engage the valve core to open the A/C valves on the car isn't long enough or not adjusted properly to actually engage the A/C valve core. I purchased these to replace the adapters that came with Harbor Freight A/C Manifold Sensors. HF devices do not work reliably. Sometimes they wouldn't let air/gas through. When I bought this item I thought it would be an original way to get an old set of A/C manifold sensors to fit newer R-134a Adjust vehicle dashboards. And that. The only problem I had was freon leaking out of the high pressure fitting. The low pressure fitting worked well but the high pressure fitting was leaking.
