Cute paci for preemies but be aware!

I got this pacifiers as a gift from friend along with lots of different brand pacifiers for my baby shower. And my baby wouldn't take any other paci but this! It's made really nicely, and fits her mouth perfectly (she was born preemie btw) I loved how it doesn't cover her nose and looks stylish and cute! We got tons of compliments on it. The only minus (and I would say huge minus) is that after little over a month of use I noticed mold starting to build up! (In the area where nipple attaches to

Gross mold growth! for my opinion

Well this is unfortunate bc my baby loved this pacifier but today I noticed mold growing inside! This is with weekly sanitizing! Thankfully we have other brands that she now has taken to and have zero mold (MAM).

  • Tried several different pacifiers before finding this one. My daughter loves them.
Cons
  • May not be effective for soothing babies who are colicky.

Delivery time was horrible

Delivery Held up 3 days in a city 15 minutes driving distance. Extremely difficult moving around after a c-section with a fussy baby that wants a pacifier. Refund or cancel was not an option which was even more disappointing.

My baby rarely takes this

I'm not sure if it's the pacifier itself or my baby's preferences, but my newborn (now one month) has only taken this paci on a handful of occasions. It does seem well sized for a newborn. We offer it to her and she appears to gag on it and refuses it almost every time.
