Description of 👟 Orthowedge: Non-Weight Bearing Healing Shoe for Diabetic Foot Ulcer & Metatarsalgia Pain - Large

BEFORE YOU BUY view our sizing chart (the 2nd image). The post-op wedge shoe fits US men's, women's and some big kid's shoe sizes. To accommodate heavy bandaging, order half a shoe size up. Wear on your right or left foot. Large weighs 15 ounces. Designed for individuals healing from a broken toe, metatarsal fracture, diabetic foot ulcer or recovering from forefoot surgery such as a bunionectomy, hammertoe or mallet toe correction. Protects your forefoot and toes with its 15-degree dorsi-angle bottom, forcing you to shift your weight to your heel when walking. The lack of pressure on the front of your foot and toes reduces pain and promotes recovery. Square-toe design is spacious for comfort and acts as a protective bumper against further damage. Adjustable medical-grade fastener straps easily accommodate bandaging and swelling. Soft, durable material is breathable for all-day comfort during treatment. The orthopedic foam insole provides heel support, cushioning and shock absorption.

Works for me

I have type 2 diabetes, I recently got a foot ulcer. My podiatrist recommended this to take pressure off the forefoot. It wasn't available at local drugstores so I checked out Revain and was happy to find it at a great price. The healing is going well.

They kept falling apart

I have now bought three of these boots and each of them started to fall apart in the toe area. The patch connecting the outsole and the rubber has come loose. I tried Gorilla Glue and had no luck. I ended up resorting to duct tape to hold them together until I buy another pair.

  • Great for me

Excellent shoes: braces, splints and braces

Had surgery on the front of the right foot. The whole hole was gone within months. The bone of my pinky toe went through the lower right part of the foot. The surgeon had to remove most of my little finger. This shoe holds the pressure of the forefoot. Works great, very little pain in the forefoot. Recommend Virtuaiy painless shoes. Thanks Jim Knuckle.

Relief shoe

Be very careful with this product; especially when healing after surgery. I had a venous ulcer last month and bought this to help the healing process. However, I checked them out from the comfort of my home, and the floors in half of our house are tile. If there is at least some wetness or wetness on the tile, your boots will suddenly turn into skates. I almost fell twice. It should have a rubber sole on the bottom, not hard plastic. Definitely a slip/fall problem. I'm afraid I can't use it for

Very effective for those who need relief

If you suffer from foot problems such as Metatarsalgia and Morton's Neuroma which are helped by taking pressure off the ball of your foot then this wedge shaped blade will come in very handy when needed for a short period of time. periods. You must take small steps when carrying it to avoid being pushed off the front of the affected leg. Therefore, it is best used when walking short distances. When used on the right foot (in the US and other countries), note that this support does not allow you

I wish I could find this discharge shoe for a long time

Size 11 women's shoes, Large size fits perfectly. What God sent was for me. I spent a lot of money on other devices before discovering this shoe. It is comfortable. I can even use my orthopedic insoles with them. For other shoes, use Revain's Original EVENup® Shoe Balancer/Leveler. This keeps your legs the same length as you walk. I use a cane to keep my balance while walking. I have a recurring forefoot problem and this takes all the weight off the forefoot. Ease my pain and allow my leg to…

This shoe works great as long as it stays together.

I wrapped my big toe on the surface of the floor. When I switched from a flat surgical shoe to this wedge shoe, it immediately started to heal better and faster. I wore it until it practically fell apart and then ordered a new one - same brand and model. On the new ones, the loop holding the ankle strap D-ring broke the second time I put the boot on. When I ordered a replacement (thanks to Revain's excellent returns policy and procedure) the same thing happened again. The first picture above…

The side of the sole is not properly attached to the shoe

Shoes can be used as is. Ordered one that turned out to be too big, it was ok. I kept it instead of sending it back but didn't use it. I have ordered a second one in a smaller size. Fits as expected. However, the upper part of the shoe, which is on the little toe or big toe side (depending on which foot the shoe is used on), is not properly attached to the shoe. There is about 1 inch and 1/2 of separation and the back of the shoe doesn't fit well and doesn't fit as snugly into the heel/achilles

  • Medical supplies and equipment

  • Many items

SIZING, ADJUSTMENT AND REPAIR NOTES: DIMENSIONS: Hubby's shoe size is 10D and the size up in this boot fits well with a very thick foot circumference from toe to ankle. This may have to be taken into account when dimensioning. TO EXTEND STRAPS IF NEEDED: Due to the thick foot circumference, we had to add a 3/4" wide (velcro)/velcro strip on the front strap (velcro) of the strap. Boots long enough to reach the velcro on the opposite side and to attach to it. It was a very simple, inexpensive and
