It is used during rehabilitation after injuries and operations, with instability of the knee joint, osteochondropathy and osteoarthrosis, failure of the capsular-ligamentous apparatus and hemophilic hemarthrosis, as well as for the prevention of pathological installation of the lower leg. The hinges of the stiffening ribs have one axis of rotation and are equipped with a stopper that limits the extension to an angle of 180°.
