Better than OEM, good for engine cooling and air conditioning

Sent quickly and arrived intact. I swear this thing is better than OEM. Shortly after we bought a new Jeep, we had problems with leaking tanks. The bends and the thickness of the metal to which the end tanks are attached are heavier than that of the factory block. I think it will take longer than it did. Everything went as it did from the factory. Couldn't be happier

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Started leaking after a year.

I noticed that the expansion tank was empty about 12 months after the radiator was replaced. Filled again, and after 9 months it was empty. The system pressure was checked last week and both side tanks are leaking. Now I'm out of the 2 year 1 month warranty and can't find contact with the manufacturer. I would recommend anyone other than this product.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • not reliable

Driven 500 km, no complaints. .

After about 500 miles I have no complaints. Matched an OEM heatsink that I removed and installed without the problems that can sometimes arise when using non-genuine parts. Surprisingly, this inexpensive replacement radiator included a new radiator cap and support bumpers. No leaks or other issues so far, but summer in Texas isn't here yet. If I change my mind about the product I will edit my review.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Style 90

Make this purchase and read the reviews.

So I installed one of these on my 2008 Wrangler X about 2 months ago. He has worked like a champion from the start. *** Read all reviews before you start. The only thing I haven't seen in the reviews that would help is that you have to pre-drill the holes with screws because the plastic is unthreaded and when you're trying to install it in the front of the jeep space is so limited It is very difficult to cut plastic. I didn't take it back to do this and that's why my screws aren't rotated 90…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Was broken on delivery

Bought to replace my leaking radiator on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler with just over 30,000 miles (seriously 30,000 and happy to lick?!?). Did a quick inspection and comparison the day of delivery as I needed a weekend off and everything looked fine. Today the first one was available, took everything apart, took my old wheel off, took the new one out of the box, proceeded to install the fan, and one of the tabs/hooks holding the bottom of the fan cover broke. Found a broken piece in the box and it…

  • good thing

Works like an OEM (see update: not many left)

My 2009 Jeep Wrangler's radiator cracked at 99,000 miles and the local mechanic wanted north of $700 to replace it with a new thermostat. Judging by the reviews, I took the plunge and bought it. Besides the joy (that's sarcasm) that everything will be deactivated and removed from the streets. I've never changed a heatsink before and relied on YouTube to help me and it was pretty easy. If you have the ultimate DIY skills, you can do this. All in all, it holds up like a champ. I check this from…

Pros
  • Multiple competitors

  • Safety

Take your time. Be patient. It doesn't quite fit, but that's okay.

Not a bad setup. Just a few things that can bother. 1. Threading the bottom two bolts and the driver's side bolt from the A/C condenser to the radiator can be tricky. The space is very small and an 8mm box wrench needs to be used for the bottom screws, which takes time. For the driver's side screw, you'll need to slip an 8mm head over the horn and squeeze firmly to tighten. I've found that tightening the two 10mm screws that hold the heatsink in place before trying that side screw makes things…

Pros
  • High marks from testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Great price, best in radiators

I've been looking for a while, the price compared to the reviews on this was too good to pass up, you usually get what you pay for so I went Concerned about holes etc on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU. I checked out the manufacturer, they look reputable, they have a good website etc, they also come with a cap so I took a chance. The first radiator I received had a hole in the packaging and damage to the unit, I refused delivery and Amazon sent me a replacement without question. The whole removal…

  • Easy to use
