As a result of using this indexable insert, I found that it created a smoother finish on my turning projects and the carbide material held up well.

After burning 3 pages on two different brand discs when Cutting material I *thought* wouldn't be a problem, I had to order replacement inserts. The inserts I received from OCARBIDE have the thickness, radius and spacing I need. The quality seems good and they include a nice little plastic case to protect the carbide inserts until you need them. Quick and easy replacement and decommissioning for metalworking.

Better than cheap free inserts supplied by my cheap imported lathe. They are way better than cheap junk. Not as good as Sandvik, but not worth $15 either. I think that's a good golden mean. Good enough to use and get good results but not too expensive. If you're trying to save some money buy these, I won't hesitate to buy Oscarbid inserts in the future but I won't buy any of the cheap 6.99 for 10 nameless junk that's useless.
