I bought this as I wanted to quickly put my bio in my pocket and didn't want to worry about what else might be inside. It works great even with the case on your vita. However, I wouldn't feel safe doing nothing in my biography. It's just a slightly thickened fabric. I recommend this product for a little extra security as both the front and back of your bio are protected.
