I bought this toaster to replace a broken stainless steel Hamilton Beach Toaster. Upon unpacking, I was surprised at how light this toaster was compared to my old one. After using it three times I have decided to return it. He toasted one side of the bread twice as much as the other. Look at photos of each side of the same slice of bread. Oster is a reputable company but this particular toaster was a lemon. The bread was toasted unevenly on both sides. That bodes badly for its design. Then it started flashing all of its buttons on the left, which you can remove by pressing the "Toaster" key - although there shouldn't be any general flashing to begin with. This is a 2 slice toaster with stepless (not 7 as described) dimming settings. Extra wide slots (a common feature of modern toasters) are suitable for different types of bread, and the mechanism for accommodating bread of different widths works perfectly.
