Great set I had never done a timing belt before buying this tool set. I followed the factory repair manual and used this kit on my cadillac 03 cts and it worked great.

Great replica of a SUPER EXPENSIVE GM kit. Doesn't come with decent instructions on how to use it, but they can be found online. Anyone online who says you don't need it to time these machines is crazy. Additionally, even with this kit, the process of timing a car correctly is not for the faint of heart.

I used it to change the timing belt on a 2002 Saturn Vue. Without that I wouldn't have dared to try. It locks everything in place to avoid disaster and hours of trying to reset the 4 cameras' time if something slips. I'll probably never use it again, but it's easily saved me $5-$600 on repairs.

To replace the timing belt on a Saab 9-5 V6 I bought this kit and found it very useful. The only weak point, the key for the roller bolts was weak and bent a little under pressure. The rest was good and helpful. Make sure all marks are lined up properly so the "stop tool" fits snugly on the rim of the water pump.

Normally one would hope that auto parts stores would lend this kit. Think again, nobody seemed to know what it was, and certainly not here in Columbus, Ohio.
