From decent to good lightbulbs. Excellent value for money

These lamps are good or not. Most last several months. Some last several days. When they work, they are very enjoyable and of great value. I definitely recommend buying at least four packs. I can't comment on the UV performance.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Appearance

Result varies by heat lamp

One lamp failed and another died same day. The thread melted through the glass. The other lasted me about a month. I currently use two and one more should do. One for the turtle and one for my bearded dragons so for the money I think it's ok.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Decent lamps for the price

I use these bulbs in many of my lights, I have turtles, geckos, bears, snakes, tortoises etc and generally they work well. They don't last very long, but for the money you can't beat them, especially since UV lamps are made of mercury and generally don't last very long anyway.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • dim

Great lights for the price

Great reptile lights that won't break the bank. Branded headlights will do the job, but if they accidentally burn out, they cost over $20 to replace. If it happens to them, it's not that expensive. It happens that someone burns out in less than a month, and someone in six months. Great for the price. None of my turtle shells have had a single defect since I've used them over the winter :)

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Damaged

Very good lightbulbs. for reptiles and amphibians

The lamps are much smaller than I expected but the performance is good. This little bulb puts out a decent amount of heat for its size. So far I've spent more money than I care to admit on lightbulbs that burn out in a matter of days, countless hours walking back and forth to the store, or multiple refunds online. I would say the only downside to the product is that the bulb is exposed, it's not protected by any kind of glass to protect it from dirt that might come into contact with it. Overall

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • too stupid

Good for what you get

I bought these to have a reserve if my more expensive bulbs burn out or need replacing. So my kites are never without lights waiting for new bulbs. I wanted to give them a fair rating as I'm always looking for good, inexpensive onions for my herps. You don't quite meet these criteria. BUT they are close. They give good heat and ultraviolet. I left one (well, two) in the bearded dragon tank for a month just to compare it to my $30 100w herpes lamp. It worked well. There was no noticeable…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
