Failed Completely After 10 minutes at 8 AMPS at 24 VDC

Great looking quiet unit but, it failed completely at 10 minutes of use while powering a load of 24 vdc at 8 amps.The unit just went dark right when i was becoming confident with it. Now it blows every fuse as soon as power is turned on, without any load on it.Unfortunately i can't send it back, because i passed the Best Buy return deadline. I just couldn't find time to use it until now.I spent more on this one to get a queiter unit and to hopefully get a better than average power supply.?!

Buyer beware This is CRAP (should be zero stars)

I bought one of these after a month it failed, it had not been abused in any way. used from 5 to 20 volts approx 1-2 amps when it was used only about one hour a week. Best Buy replaced it with a new one.The new one has now failed with similar use. With nothing connected to it started showing over current condition and the voltage indication would drop to1or 2 volts. Now Best Buy shows it is too late to return.If you are looking for a power supply buy another brand. This is coming from a retired

Variable power supply; I careless about USB output

Simple and reliable. I am tempted in ordering another (30v 10A). I like that it doesn’t have all those bells and whistles (USB) stuff to increase the probability of the unit failing.It does what it says, that’s all I care about. Time will tell

You get what you pay for.

it worked for about a minute, then the fuse blew. Ordered new fuses and they blow as soon as you try to turn it on. While it did work the controls are very touchy and not very accurate from what could tell.

Versatile, really useful piece of equipment

Product itself is extremely easy to use, very consistent and reliable. Well made and very robust. Gave it 4/5 overall because the leads provided are poor quality and fell apart within a couple days. I had to make some new ones. No big deal but annoying.

Great for DIYer for my opinion

I needed a power supply to reset a 48v battery that was over discharged and the charger wouldn't recognize it. It worked perfectly.

I wasted my money in my review

Unit failed after one hour. Used 6 volts at 1.5 amps.The first one, they said was undeliverable and i had to oder a new one. The second failed after an hour.

Not a reliable constant current source.

First, I need to state that I work in a electronics lab and have lots of experience with benchtop power supplies, including ones with constant current and voltage capabilities.I also purchased multiple units and my findings were similar for the four I tested.This product lacks a fine regulating knob, although the instruction manual discusses both rough and fine knobs. Dialing in the desired voltage and current was extremely difficult with only the rough knobs. Just a small fraction of a turn…

Not simetrical good for me

Be aware that is NOT simetrical as you can think for the terminals. It just provide 0-60V. Works fine for what it was designed. Cant complain more due is not mentioned in the specs, but the for the pics it is misleading

Nice little supply - my new review

Works and looks as expected. Now if the delivery driver hadn't set it in a puddle when they delivered it, it would have been a perfect experience. Wet box. Still worked

excellent quality! accurate voltage and current display

voltage and current both showed only 0.1 volts and 0.1 amps above what my high quality multimeter showed. excellent quality and easy to use. love it!
