Reliable and speedy Wi-Fi connection

This network adapter does a fantastic job in delivering a reliable and speedy Wi-Fi connection to my computer. It seamlessly connects to my network and I haven't experienced any dropouts or lag. The compact design also makes it easy to transport for any out-of-office working with computers. However, the installation process could be a bit easier for those not as tech-savvy.

Worked after figuring out how to set up the dongle - Here's how I did it

This is how I got it to work on my 3 year old Acer laptop. I have to say that I tried the drivers on the manufacturers site mentioned on this page, I tried the ones I found on the site I found when I searched the name and brand of this adapter, and then installed the drivers directly from Realtek (the chipset I have is RTL8811CU). The actual Realtek drivers don't come with a utility that the manufacturer has, but I prefer not to. Only more garbage runs in the background. After installing theโ€ฆ

ATTENTION FOR LINUX USERS!

ATTENTION FOR LINUX USERS! I bought it to use with the Kali virtual machine for penetration testing. I wanted dual band and monitor mode in a tiny USB dongle so I could keep it plugged into my laptop. Unfortunately, the one I received on May 2nd, 2019 is *NOT* the RTL8811AU chipset, but the RTL8811CU. All current versions will probably now ship with this updated chipset. You can check your chipset by running "lsusb" in a Linux terminal and looking for one of the following: 0bda:a811 =โ€ฆ
