Difficult to use - grating

Difficult to keep blade closed while cooking french fries. After a few swipes, you'll end up making chips if you don't keep a close eye on it. Let's search better.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Can hurt

Do not want it! good for graters, peelers and slicers

I've been using this for a couple of weeks and am loving making homemade french fries and potato chips. It was difficult to cut, the options in the cutter were too thin for the fries I wanted to make. It didn't work for me!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Useless features

Paper thin slices on Kitchenware & Gadgets

I bought a food dehydrator a few years ago and have used it once or twice. My previous mandolin's slices weren't thin enough, so anything with multiple ingredients took days to dehydrate. No longer! This has become my must have slicer!

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Nothing here

WARNING! DANGEROUS!

Just got back from the ER after my mom cut off part of her finger with this thing. I cried most of the way there. A very traumatic experience. I am feeling so bad. I bought it. I hate the one who created this sinister device. And she has cancer, she's going to the hospital during the pandemic. I hope nothing bad happens to her.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Almost never

Versatile and easy to use

Love it! No need to change blades or adjust thickness and grind! It's very easy to turn the knob and you'll have exactly what you want every time! Paper-thin apple slices for a dehydrator, perfect onion slices for burgers, and just a twist to make a medium-sized julienne of salad greens.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Compatible

Dull Blades: Kitchen and Dining

I tried using it on carrots but the blades were too dull to work well. It took about 3 minutes to slice a carrot and I nearly cut myself several times from having to press so hard to make it even work. But a really cool idea with the ability to rotate. If the blades were sharp enough that would be great. Can't give more than 1/5 because dull blades mean it doesn't work at all and the features are pointless.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some bugs
