it has been working flawlessly for 4 years. You can only use it on your neck and face. I like that the neck piece is small to keep it in place.

I ordered this ski mask when the Minnesota winter was getting a lot colder than usual. Our little one carries it to the bus stop every morning. He sweats in it, so we wash it often because otherwise it smells like his hair!

I had a hard time deciding on a size but in the end I guessed and the Med/Lg fit my 9 year old perfectly. My daughter loves this balaclava and sledding is a lot more fun now because her face isn't red and cold after 10 minutes. Excellent quality and multi-phase use, ideal for cooling and heating applications. My only regret is that I didn't have any of these for my husband and I either!

This is exactly what I needed for my daughter. She is 3 years old and I wanted something that would cover her face better in the bitter cold. I think we'll survive at least one more winter, but we'll definitely see next year. She loves wearing it and I love how it keeps her warm.

Actually it was a good quality product but they didn't have a good explanation of sizes. I bought the X-Small/Small for my 4 year old and it was too small. I think for 2-3 years it's good.

Fits my 8 year old boy just right. He is about medium sized. He likes it more than the other two that we have with a similar design.

Bought M/L for my kids after reading a review saying I might be too small. Fits my 6 year old daughter and 9 year old son well. The head is a little loose for my daughter, but that's ok. Easy to pull off the front. The material is good and comfortable. Let's see if December is warm enough for our ski trip.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who has a normal sized head (i.e. looks like an upside down exclamation mark, not a balloon). It fits her well and is warm enough for winter cycling. Looks pretty fancy too.

I have a 3 year old, it fits very well but they could improve it. Sometimes in the mountains the mask reaches the eyes and it is very annoying.

I accidentally bought them for myself. It really fits! Please note that I am a small woman. They will not fit a normal sized male head. Good quality.

The rubber band on his face was so small that it cut into my son's lower eyelids. If he wore ski goggles, maybe they would hide him from his eyes.

Bought this for my 5 year old before a particularly long, snowy, cold winter. He loved it. Keeps your head and face warm for hours of snow play.

My son HATES hats and anything on his face. He LOVES this "ninja" mask. It is very versatile as it can be folded back and the mask lowered, turning it into an "alligator". When he gets cold we pull him up and eventually he goes over his head. Highly recommended!

Bought for 10 year old son to get through the Wisconsin winter at play or at the bus stop. Very high quality, warm and hello. Tight fit so you need a big one for anything but a toddler. For teenagers I would switch to adult sizes.

Great balaclava - we have a 10 month old head that is 80th percentile - this balaclava is large but not too big for him - which is great as it will last a few years. It sticks out over his nose, although he likes to tuck it down and under his chin - but at least it warms that part of his body. When we get into colder weather and he's cloaked in winter overalls, we'll see if he can still crush him. Outdoor Research makes some decent products. They fit as expected and are quite warm. The material is flexible and gentle, allowing it to retain heat while still conforming to the head. Frost over the mouth is not formed, and this at a temperature of 0-5 °. I would recommend it.
