I've never had microstuds but needed them on an ice hike. I didn't want to spend more than €40 on another brand so I bought it based on the good reviews. They worked fantastic! Easy to put on and take off, you can just put them in your backpack. They came with a black pouch for easy portability. There are no rubber issues that others have complained about, but we'll see how it fares over time. I have a women's size 7 and a medium and they fit perfectly, don't sag or move when I put them on.

My girlfriend and I bought these for a trip to the Grand Canyon when we saw what it was could be for ice cream . Turns out we really needed them for descending steep slopes with ice and mud. Without them we would slide everywhere. We were able to make fast progress with them while the others fell and got stuck. These crampons work very well on ice and slippery snow. They're also pretty easy to put on - I set aside a specific pair of boots and "matched" them to these boots so I can always wear a solid shoe when I'm out on the ice. The rubber part of the product stretched around the sole fits well and is securely fixed.
