Bought to replace a pair I've had for many years. Being new they are a bit open but will take root. Great for moving the burning wood and charcoal around my smokehouse.

I bought these for moving charcoal but found the tips of the tongs weren't very suitable for the task. The spring action is stronger than it should be. I think they will work with grilled food but I already have tongs that are better suited for this. So I only use them to move the charcoal after throwing it out the chimney.
