Hanger for skis in hooks

I needed to pick up my skis and get them out of the way. I installed 2 of these from the ceiling in my garage and couldn't be happier.

Do not use the supplied screws!

Purchased to hang 10 feet on a garage door. The top only hangs on a wall hook, but I needed ceiling hooks for the other end. They get the job done and I "think" they're strong enough, but they don't inspire much confidence, especially when I know they supplied the cheapest screws I've ever come across. Two heads popped out just trying to push her down, not even to the final tightening stage. All screws have been renewed!

Great for overhead ladder storage

Bought to clean two ladders in my garage. Installation couldn't be simpler - it comes with screws and anchors, but I can't imagine the thing weighing much if mounted in plaster or drywall. I used my own slightly heavier bolts to attach it to the ceiling joists and I'm pretty sure I can pull myself up without bending the thing. Great price compared to other solutions I've thought of.

Does what it does

I had access to the attic next to the garage to see where the screws go. They worked great for me since the brace is built into the 2x4. I like the height just enough to clear my head but stretch out my hand to reach things. Not heavy but I wouldn't load it with compression wood, I have six 2x4x8's on one side and 4 rods/reels on the other. If the placement does not involve posts/beams, you can add one above or below the ceiling first.
