Very cheap and thin material. The plugs actually rock back and forth so they don't form an airtight seal. My old one which is 20-25 years old still works great. I just wanted a few extra bottles. Needless to say I sent them back.

I used to buy these corks. They are great for preserving the carbonation of champagne as corks once removed cannot be reused. Some fell apart after a few months, and some came loose when not properly placed on the bottle. But overall they are great. I bought a few that were latch types. Much more expensive.

Not happy, first time use of Martinelli's champagne bottle and it wouldn't close and stay in place. Everything thrown in the trash. An old design I gave to a family member would have worked, but I need to find a better design that has a true radial locking mechanism that keeps the wings folded down in relation to the oversized bottle cap.

Ideal for large champagne bottles. I like that it doesn't have a lot of height, which is perfect as others have made it too tall for a fridge shelf. It's easy to use, you open and close it, and the seal closes tightly around the opening to keep your drink fresh for as long as possible. It closes like a cork, but no problem. The only negative is that it feels like it's made out of cheap material. Great price for 2 packs.
