Oxbow Essentials Chinchilla 3Lb Pack Small Animals Review

I usually buy one big bag but I like that it's two smaller bags. It fits better in my storage next to the cages and I'm sure it stays fresher longer too. My chillies are damn picky and won't eat anything else. I struggled to get it locally for a while and finally started ordering from Amazon!

When I had a hamster I used Oxbow as my only brand and I do the same for my mochi chinchilla. So far he loves it and eats it with no complaints (although he does like rose hips and other treats once or twice a week). The best thing about Oxbow is that you know it has no added sugars and therefore your pet won't have any health problems later in life. As chinchillas live to be 12-15 years old it is important that they are fed good quality food and this is exceptional quality.

My chinchillas love this food and I've only heard good things about this brand. I have been feeding them this food for 6 years and they are very healthy and active. I also feed her Oxbow Timothy Hay. The pellets are a good size, high quality and a good price for what you get. These 2 packs came in handy and available during COVID-19 which was very helpful. I think the price is good compared to PetSmart, maybe save a dollar or two if you buy in bulk. I recommend this for your chin!
