I originally gave this product 5 stars. See original review below. But less than two weeks later, the spinning mechanism simply stopped working, rendering the product unusable. While I liked this product, it's clearly not worth the money as it is short-lived. First review: I just switched to an in-ear and this product works well. It holds the tea pieces better than another style I've tried that doesn't close as tightly.

I use backpacking and camping as my main foods. I trust quality craftsmanship and this tea infuser will meet your leaf needs. I've been using the same filter for over 5 years now and it's always in my pack. It's worth noting that I can let the handle sit out of the jar with the lid on and hold it down for a super long 10-15 brew and stir. Disappointed with this product. I've brewed tea several times and can't get too many tea leaves in one cup of water. This beautiful device was just fantastic to use! The reason I didn't give it five stars is that tiny bits of tea can swim out of the holes BUT that's not a deal breaker at all!
