Defog works great. I like the little shelf for my razor. What I don't like are the large rust deposits after 10 months. chrome metal over steel. Not stainless steel

Tried several fog-free shower mirrors. Until I found this one I was disappointed. They either fog up or fall off the ceramic tile walls. It is easy to use and is attached with strong double-sided tape. Suction cups are not required. Fill with hot water when you start and pour out when you're done.

Chrome frame rusted after 1 month use. I contacted OXO for a warranty exchange which they agreed to. After OXO sends a replacement, I plan to coat the chrome frame with a few coats of clear spray paint and then apply a coat of wax in hopes of preventing rust on the new unit. But I'm really wondering, why would I even do that?

The mirror itself works well as described, but the metal on the tray is already completely rusted. I have had the item for exactly 2 months. In addition, the tray is so small that it is completely unusable. I love OXO products and replaced my old simplehuman mirror with this because I think Oxo makes better products. Unfortunately, this mirror does not meet Oxo's usual quality standards.

Must come with warning 'Do not use near water'. The metal part is 2/3 covered with rust after 50 days in the shower. So typical of everything today, they should just use stainless steel and charge accordingly. Making a product unnecessarily cheaper is an insult if it ends up becoming unusable. And don't even try to blame my facility - very large shower stall, only used once a day in the morning, more than adequate ventilation, no harsh chemicals. Oxo To call it an anti-fog mirror is misleading at best. You can only claim this for technical reasons. If you remove the mirror from the wall, fill the thin hole with hot water and put it back in place, now covered in water droplets obscuring your vision, then yes - you're right that it's now fog free. I have been using OXO anti-fog mirrors for many years and overall they are great. They typically last 2-3 years which I think is great for a product that lives in a humid, hot environment. This mirror is an exception to the rule: METHOD OF FIXING: The mirror is fixed to the shower screen with glue. I don't know about you, but it's asking a lot for a temporary product.
