🍨 Stainless Steel Ice Cream Spade by OXO Good Grips Review

Sturdy, functional, but rusts, it's not stainless steel. It's only been 3 months but it still shouldn't rust. False advertising.

I've tried almost every type of ice cream scoop. Most of them broke or detached from the metal when washed in the dishwasher. This one works really well and looks like solid stainless steel so nothing should chip off. It's pretty heavy and solid.

I got tired of scooping ice cream with an ordinary spoon and reminded me that in my childhood we had something my father always used to be an ice cream scoop called. This is still for sale. This one is great, it fits square corners of boxes as well as packages with rounded ends.

This is the second time I have purchased an OXO product and it certainly won't be the last. Their products are good quality and everything they say. It is difficult to find a shovel in this shape. It provides a good grip and cuts through hard ice with ease, even for those with arthritic hands. Spend a dollar or two more on this unit for the quality, you won't regret it.

Easy to use ice cream scoop, effortlessly slices through hard-packed ice cream, non-slip and ergonomic handle, feels good in your hand, dishwasher safe, couldn't ask for more. Bought twice, first for a friend with arthritis and after using it on a visit to her house I decided to buy a second one for myself. Come on, OXO again!
